#HEWLETT PACKARD LASERJET 5 DRIVER WINDOWS 10 UPDATE#
I would like to inform you that this issue may arise when there are issues with the Windows update components. I understand the inconvenience you are facing currently. I would really appreciate any help or insight.Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I'm afraid that I have been trying so many different solutions/drivers suggested from Reddit/HP that I may have dug myself into a hole. I believe I have done this, but if someone can help me check I would be so grateful! The Startech adapter that I am currently trying says before it will work, I have to update the Thunderbolt software, Thunderbolt controller NVM firmware, and the Thunderbolt controller drivers. I have the Thunderbolt Control Center and it says: If it's relevant, I have a VPN for work and have tried the adapters when both logged in/off I have tried two Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapters (I have both the Apple adapter, and this Startech adapter) The Display itself also works with other devices. The port works fine when using it with a USB-C cable on other devices (I don't have another Thunderbolt device to test). I have confirmed that my device supports Thunderbolt (not just USB-C).

I have an Elitebook840 G6, running Windows 10 version 20H2 (64-bit) that I am trying to connect to an Apple Thunderbolt Display. I realize a few iterations of this question has been posted, but I haven't found a solution for my device. Modifications are effective upon posting.

I think we have all seen the phishing sites that try to fool you into thinking your PC is broken and end up taking your money or taking over your machine. Outright flaming, trashing, rants, slams or legal threats against the HP Inc/Hewlett Packard brands, or HP/Hewlett Packard or any other company is also prohibited. Bringing up old flames usually creates new ones. Also, bringing up old “flames,” as in old animosities which have since been resolved, will result in strict action against the member. The interpretation of whether an attack has occurred is entirely up to the moderators, so if you are not completely sure that you can express your opinion without it sounding like an attack, you’re best off just not doing it at all. You can express your opinions, but you must do so calmly, intelligently, and without purposeful intent to attack the other party. If you can’t express your opinion of someone else’s actions without being mean, childish, insulting or spiteful, keep it to yourself.
